Matthew Chapman
Matthew Chapman joined Microchip's Board of Directors in May 1997 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He brings extensive executive leadership experience from public and private technology companies, as well as the education sector.
Mr. Chapman previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Evaluation Association and held chief executive leadership positions with Centrisoft Corporation and Concentrex Incorporated.
Mr. Chapman holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Portland.
Ellen L. Barker
Ellen Barker joined Microchip's Board of Directors in February 2024. Ms. Barker serves as Chair of the Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committee.
Ms. Barker served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Texas Instruments, where she oversaw global IT strategies and operations. Her 36-year career at Texas Instruments included roles as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Vice President and Controller, and National Semiconductor Integration Manager.
Ms. Barker holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
Karen Rapp
Karen Rapp joined Microchip's Board of Directors in January 2021 and serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee. She brings extensive executive leadership experience in finance, corporate strategy, information technology, and business operations within the semiconductor and technology industries.
Ms. Rapp served as Chief Financial Officer of National Instruments Corporation. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles at NXP Semiconductors and Freescale Semiconductor, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
In addition to her public company leadership experience, Ms. Rapp currently serves on the boards of directors of Cohu, Inc. and Plexus Corp.
Ms. Rapp holds a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas. She is also NACD Directorship Certified.

Mr. Cassidy most recently served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy Office at TSMC and as Chairman of TSMC Arizona. During his tenure, he also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TSMC North America and as the founding President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of TSMC Arizona.
Mr. Cassidy holds a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Victor Peng
Victor Peng joined Microchip's Board of Directors in February 2025. He brings extensive semiconductor industry leadership experience, including executive leadership, product strategy and public company board service.
Mr. Peng served as President of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xilinx, Inc. and was a member of the company's Board of Directors. During his tenure at Xilinx, he also held senior leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.
Mr. Peng currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of PsiQuantum and on the boards of directors of KLA Corporation and Rambus Inc.
Mr. Peng holds a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
