Matthew W. Chapman
Matthew W. Chapman joined Microchip's Board of Directors in May 1997. Mr. Chapman serves as Chair of the Audit Committee.
He served as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Evaluation Association, a global not-for-profit education services organization, from 2007 to 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Chapman was Chair and CEO of Centrisoft, a private software company, and CEO and Chair of Concentrex Incorporated, a public company specializing in software solutions for U.S. financial institutions.
Mr. Chapman holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Portland.

Karlton D. Johnson joined Microchip's Board of Directors in April 2021.
He currently serves as the CEO of the National Space Society and of DeLaine Strategy Group LLC. Mr. Johnson's 26-year U.S. Air Force career culminated as a Colonel, serving as CIO and lead cyberspace expert adviser for U.S. Forces-Korea.
Mr. Johnson holds a B.S. in Information Systems from West Virginia University, and multiple master's degrees and executive certifications from institutions including George Washington University, National Defense University, and Harvard Business School.

Karen M. Rapp joined Microchip's Board of Directors in January 2021. Ms. Rapp serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee.
She served as CFO of National Instruments Corporation from 2017 to 2023. Prior to that, Ms. Rapp held roles as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at NXP Semiconductors and Vice President and CIO at Freescale Semiconductor. She currently serves on the boards of Cohu, Inc. and Plexus Corp.
Ms. Rapp holds a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University, an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and is NACD Directorship Certified.

She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Texas Instruments, overseeing global I.T. strategies and operations. Ms. Barker's 36-year career at Texas Instruments included roles as Vice President and CIO, as well as Vice President, Controller, and National Semiconductor Integration Manager. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Alliance of Technology and Women.
Ms. Barker holds a B.A. of Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin, and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.

He served as President and CEO of Enevate Corp. from 2016 to 2022, developing innovative battery technology for electric vehicles. Prior to that, Mr. Rango held executive roles at Broadcom Corp., where he led the Mobile and Wireless Group. He currently serves on the boards of KLA Corporation and Keysight Technologies.
Mr. Rango holds a M.E in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook, and a certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute.
