Steve Sanghi

Chair of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President

Steve Sanghi was appointed Chief Executive Officer and President in July 2025, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Microchip from 1991 to 2021. He has served on Microchip's Board of Directors since 1990 and has held leadership roles including Chair of the Board and Executive Chair. Mr. Sanghi also served as President from 1990 to 2016.

With more than three decades of leadership experience at Microchip, Mr. Sanghi has played a significant role in the company's growth and strategic direction.

Mr. Sanghi holds a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a B.S. in Electronics and Communication from Punjab University.

Matthew Chapman

Lead Independent Director; Chair of the Audit Committee

Matthew Chapman joined Microchip's Board of Directors in May 1997 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He brings extensive executive leadership experience from public and private technology companies, as well as the education sector.

Mr. Chapman previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Evaluation Association and held chief executive leadership positions with Centrisoft Corporation and Concentrex Incorporated.

Mr. Chapman holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Portland.

Ellen L. Barker

Independent Director; Chair of the Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committee

Ellen Barker joined Microchip's Board of Directors in February 2024. Ms. Barker serves as Chair of the Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committee.

Ms. Barker served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Texas Instruments, where she oversaw global IT strategies and operations. Her 36-year career at Texas Instruments included roles as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Vice President and Controller, and National Semiconductor Integration Manager.

Ms. Barker holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.

Rick Cassidy

Independent Director

Rick Cassidy joined Microchip's Board of Directors in May 2025. He brings nearly three decades of semiconductor industry leadership experience from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (TSMC), where he played a key role in advancing the company's global strategy, operations and growth.

Mr. Cassidy most recently served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy Office at TSMC and as Chairman of TSMC Arizona. During his tenure, he also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TSMC North America and as the founding President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of TSMC Arizona.

Mr. Cassidy holds a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Mitch Little

Independent Director

Mitch Little joined Microchip's Board of Directors in June 2026. He brings more than five decades of semiconductor industry experience, including nearly 33 years with Microchip, where he held a number of senior leadership positions.

Mr. Little most recently served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Client Engagement, leading Microchip's global sales and applications organization. During his tenure with Microchip, he also held executive leadership roles across sales, applications, and business management.

Mr. Little holds a B.S. in Electronic Technology from United Electronics Institute.

Victor Peng

Independent Director

Victor Peng joined Microchip's Board of Directors in February 2025. He brings extensive semiconductor industry leadership experience, including executive leadership, product strategy and public company board service.

Mr. Peng served as President of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xilinx, Inc. and was a member of the company's Board of Directors. During his tenure at Xilinx, he also held senior leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.

Mr. Peng currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of PsiQuantum and on the boards of directors of KLA Corporation and Rambus Inc.

Mr. Peng holds a M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Karen Rapp

Independent Director; Chair of the Compensation Committee

Karen Rapp joined Microchip's Board of Directors in January 2021 and serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee. She brings extensive executive leadership experience in finance, corporate strategy, information technology, and business operations within the semiconductor and technology industries.

Ms. Rapp served as Chief Financial Officer of National Instruments Corporation. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles at NXP Semiconductors and Freescale Semiconductor, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

In addition to her public company leadership experience, Ms. Rapp currently serves on the boards of directors of Cohu, Inc. and Plexus Corp.

Ms. Rapp holds a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas. She is also NACD Directorship Certified.
