Microchip Named Phoenix Business Journal's "Best Place to Work" for Fourth Straight Year

CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHP), a leading provider of microcontroller, analog and Flash-IP solutions, today announced it was selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's "Best Places to Work." For the fourth year in a row, the award places Microchip among the top-30 large companies (250 to 2,999 employees) to work for in Arizona, because of the way it creates an engaged and supportive workforce.

The "Best Places to Work" list, which was started in 2003, recognizes Valley companies that--through a third-party-administered employee satisfaction survey--are ranked as being the best places to work. Various parts of employee life are surveyed, including workplace environment, leadership direction, culture and management practices. Microchip was acknowledged for creating an enjoyable corporate culture and work environment that fosters professional and personal growth for its employees.
