Microchip Launches Second Annual Embedded Designers' Forum Technical Training Series at 100+ Global Locations and a Virtual Event

CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHP), a leading provider of microcontroller, analog and Flash-IP solutions, today announced the second annual Embedded Designers' Forum (EDF), which is a series of training events where hardware and software engineers can learn about innovative technologies that will enable them to differentiate their products. This year's EDF will showcase Smart Energy, with detailed instruction on the technologies driving intelligent, energy-efficient and connected applications that meet today's growing demand for environmentally friendly products. Microchip will conduct more than 100 live events worldwide, starting on October 19, and a Virtual EDF on November 2 that will be available on demand for one year at http://www.microchip.com/get/KVF4. The Virtual EDF will include keynote addresses from Google PowerMeter and Energizer.
